Christine Santiago SHRM - SCP

Senior Human Resources Consultant

Christine Santiago has over twenty years of experience in the airport industry, initially in human resources and then expanding to safety and risk management for Clark County Department of Aviation in Las Vegas, Nevada. The aviation department oversees McCarran International Airport, a Large Hub airport with over 25 million enplanements annually and four general aviation facilities. As a member of the executive team for Clark County Department of Aviation, she oversaw a variety of functions ranging from employment, labor relations, compensation and wellness as well as safety and risk management. Christine was an active member of the ACI HR Steering group since its formalizing over ten years ago. She served as the Chair of the committee and participated in the planning and presentation of the ACI World Human Resource forum in Montreal. Christine holds the designation of SHRM-SCP.

A native of Canada, Christine’s initial career was as a Registered Nurse, both as a clinician and nursing administrator. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Toronto and later attended the University of LaVerne. After being recruited to work in California, Christine held administrative roles for several corporate hospitals providing oversight for program development, regulatory compliance, workforce planning and national and international recruiting. This experience in complex, 24/7 operations provided lessons that translated well to the operations of an airport, including the interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration required for success.

In her free time Christine enjoys traveling, volunteering in the community and has recently become a passionate student of stone carving.
